Easy way to learn openings
Hi everyone
I like everyone struggled with how best to learn about chess openings. Inevitably Reuben Fine's book "The Ideas behind the Chess Openings" gets recommended to me time and again but it is a struggle to read.
On the other hand, I found a great book on chess openings that suits my level of comprehension. It is Chris Ward's "Improve your opening play" by Everyman Chess. Interspersed with positions on a board almost every page, it was easy to follow !!! And whilst definitely very introductory, one can get the basic feel of a chess opening very quickly. Thank you very much Chris for your wonderful book !
