Antique ivory chinese carved chess set, where to sell

hi all, I'm new here but was looking to sell, in fact it is currently on ebay nut looks like I will have to remove it because it isn't allowed.

its got elephants, puzzle balls and all sorts ot random things..but iv seen people on here say it could be worth more than I mv git it listed for.

it is missing two pieces but I dont know what its worth..when I get to a oc I will try and attach some pictures. Any advice welcome

do you have any documentation proving provenance? it's critical to be able to prove it wasnt illegally obtained. you need to go to an ivory appraiser, he may be able to help you with provenance too.

no not at all, it was passed to my when my grandmother died..so havnt got a clue, it seems to look identical to the ones listed as pre-ban hand carved Chinese.. I will be at work in abt an hour so will post some pics then cheers.
