best approach is to make the suggestion, then we will put it in the development queue and, if and when it makes it to the top, it will be done :)
Chess.com Feature Requests and Wishlist #3

just thought about it.
maby there could be an option for a non board game (unrated because of the obvious cheating) in wich you only see the moves and type them down. i guess it's better off in live chess, but theres not a big problem having that in online chess too. (?)

A Go back move in Live Chess.
A mistake reader in Live Chess.
When your finish a game you can go to Tactics Puzzle and the computer tells you what you should have done.
A Clock on Chess.com to tell you when you have a game or when a tournaments are coming up.

While I know that custom games were already suggested, however I would like to see an option in correspondence games where if a player times out, a new game can be started from the last position prior to the time out.

I am not sure if someone else already posted this suggestion (I am sorry for repeating if so)
On Vote Games, would it be possible to add a button to stay on the game (rather than going to the next Vote Game to Vote). I like to see the vote percentages, but it is a hassle to go back and check them if you have to vote in more than one game.

I think it would be nice to have an option in tactics trainer to go back to ONLY the failed problems. It a pain to have to go back one at a time. There should be a feature to return to old failed problems one at a time without the score change.

i was thinking today that a courtesy timer option might be nice, to prevent a friendly game from timing out if you don't want to win on time - like if i know my friend is on vacation and it's clear that he's forgotten to set his vacation timer, like putting quarters in parking meters for other people's cars.

I would like it if "provisional" could be placed by a player's name if he/she has not completed at least 20 games.

I’ve been thinking of some changes/improvements that could be made to chess.com. Most of these are fairly superficial – it’s a great site & it’s difficult to think of fundamental changes that need to be made. Anyway – here’s my suggestions & apologies for any that have already been made.
Incidentally, I like the recent August newsletter. I hope the newsletters become regular.
Games Archive
· Filtering Games Archive – e.g. I’d like to be able to show only the games I lost (these are the ones I want to analyse). Or at least to sort the games.
· It might be useful to have folders for games – or better labels a la Googlemail – so that we can categorise them by, say, won/lost/certain tournaments/certain opponents etc. If we could sort by these fields that would probably be sufficient.
· Is it possible to delete games? I’d like to get rid of my games as a Greeter (those that never went past the first move anyway)
Messaging
· A single function to send a message to all current game opponents – e.g. to let everyone know that I’m going on vacation in a couple of days. I know we can set our Status but not everyone reads that.
Interface
· It would be good to be able to save our personal favourites pages within chess.com – e.g. I keep forgetting how to get to http://www.chess.com/echess/players.html - yes, I know it’s easy but I still keep forgetting :-) - so I could save it in my chess.com Favourites (I don’t want to clog up my browser favourites)
· I think I saw this mentioned previously – the Play Chess menu & the My Home pull down menu are almost but not completely the same – it would simplify the interface to rationalise them.
· Some pages seem difficult to find – e.g. there’s a general help page I saw once which covered most of what you can do at chess.com by heading but I can’t find it again. Maybe I just don’t use the site enough …
· When we go on vacation we get a notice to this effect: I'm on vacation!
I have 19 days 21 hours of vacation time remaining. It would be useful to include when this vacation allowance is renewed (is it start of calendar year?).
View Players and Members
· At http://www.chess.com/echess/players.html – I’d like to sort by e.g timeouts, avg/game, time/move & any of the other stats.
· At http://www.chess.com/members/member_countries.html it would be interesting for those of us from Blighty to merge members from United Kingdom, Great Britain, England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands etc (not including Ireland obviously). A general merge function might also be interesting - for those of us with nothing better to do J e.g. ex-member states of the USSR.
Statistics
· In Detailed stats I’d like to be able to personalise the page a little, mainly to set the default graph view to be different to the current default of 90 days.
· Some statistic which indicates relative ability at turn based vs blitz vs quick etc might be interesting. I’m thinking of a ratio of Rating for turn based vs blitz vs quick. My turn based rating is much higher than blitz & quick – I think the same applies to most people , but not all. I wonder if this says something about a person’s style of play – maybe there’s a PhD there for some budding Psychology student …
· Statistics – longest/shortest game (not moves, time) – OK moves as well
· Graph showing change over time to average opponent, best win, worst loss, percentile
Live Chess
· When you choose Live Chess from the Play pull down it should open a new tab (Firefox). I know this would be in contrast to the rest of the pull down interface but it would seem more intuitive to me.
· When I go to Live chess I always minimise the Control Panel – could this setting be remembered?
Firefox request
· In Firefox when you bring up the Analysis Board it opens in a new tab. Could anything be added to the tab text to show that it is the Analysis Board & not just another normal Online Chess game page? The same would probably apply to other browsers.

Almost EVERY forum has this: It's extremely useful--a small button link next to the normal text for a thread that takes you to the most oldest post you haven't read.

An adjudicate function for admins and help in live chess. For example, if you have forced mate but your opponent left the computer, someone of the staff can adjudicate the game as a win for you.

a change in the Points systems would be good.
right now, the person who is first in the Tournaments Points Leaderboard, is not neccessarily the best player. A ranking by a Point/Tournaments played ratio would be grat.
For example:
AWARDCHESS is the score leader, but, he has 2399 points and played 274 tournaments, so his ratio is 8.75 points/tournament
NM ozzie_c_cobblepot is second with 2047 points but he had played only 50 tournaments so his ratio is 40.9 points/tournament. So who you guys think that should be the first on the list?.
I, for example, have 553 points and played 50 tournaments and may ratio is 11.0 points/tournament. So my perfomance is better than the points leaderboard.
Changing the system (actually only including this ratio idea) we will be able to see the best players of chess.com in the top of the scoreboard (as it should be)

re the points system; disconnects are making my score go down along with the connection. disconnected games should be made resumable and not scored until either player quits or loses/wins.

NO. Points per game would favor those who play the biggest tournaments.

I would like to be able to flip the board (I can already flip the Analysis Board, of course) in order to see the game from the other player's viewpoint.

It's already possible. Go to the Details tab and click the checkbox for "Flip board."

I don't know if this has been suggested or is even possible. A blank board where you can set up different positions and work them out yourself. Kind of like an analysis board on steroids.

It was certainly suggested in these two topics: www.chess.com/forum/view/community/small-application-suggestion and www.chess.com/forum/view/help-support/suggestion---tactics-trainer .
Presumably it would be necessary to switch off all safeties and checks: how could the system know whether castling had already taken place, for instance?
An option to switch on an audio file that when it is my move, the file plays a message like "It's your move !"
