Not to pry here, but is that address (order [@] chess.com) configured to receive "send money" payments? In principle it is possible to turn this capability off, and I'm wondering if chess.com did that.

The problem still seems to be there haven't been able to send money to chess.com via paypal to upgrade my account ... still waiting for the staff's answer.

Are you trying via this site or using the order@chess.com through paypal?

thanks for taking care. I've used the upgrade sites where paying via paypal is offered and I've used links from messages ...
as mentioned in my ticket to the staff everything's fine except for the fact that paypal says what is quoted above from other users ... something like can't do that right now contact the service staff of the shop or something like that.

I've talked to a friend who's a premium member and has paid his yearly fee the other day and he has not been facing this problem.

oh yes and btw paypal seems to have another problem ... during the connection while the programm is checking my data after I did everything to send the money to chess.com the amount of what I want to send to chess.com is rising from 21 to 29 Euro

hello :-) there seems to be the same paypal-error since months...
just tried to pay my diamond via paypal (no trial before) 76euro annual diamond, even tried it in USD.
now i have sent the money manually at order@....
please can someone from the team check my payment and upgrade me :-)

Paypay does still NOT work. It works on every other website. CAN YOU PLEASE FIX THAT!
I have now manually sent the money to order@chess.com please upgrade my account as fast as possible.

zeromotion it won't work if you try upgrading through the site with paypal, unfortunately this isn't something we can fix as its down to the rules Germany have with paypal site, hence my suggestion of making the direct payment to order@chess.com

same problem as last year ...
sent money via paypal to order@chess.com ...
sent ticket to chess.com to tell them I did so and to take a look and to manually re-upgrade my membership ... more than 24 hours ago now ...
waiting for my membership to be re-upgraded ...
waiting for chess.com to either fix that problem or tell every user on the upgrade site that from some countries it doesn't work ...
I would like for someone to get in contact with me about purchasing a membership. I am from Germany and I have the same problems as the people above.

send your money with paypal but login to paypal without the link from chess.com. then send your money to the email adress order@chess.com. additionally send a message/ a ticket (you can go there by using the Help&Support link on the bottom of this page) to chess.com telling them that you did send the money on your own to that email adress. then they'll take a look and when the money has arrived they'll upgrade your account.
Now I did a manual transaction to support@chess.com via paypal. There was the next error message because "...this e-mail address is not supported by paypal." I had to do the transaction to a special paypal bank account. I hope, the money will arrive soon at chess.com so that I will get my upgrade... It seems that there are many difficulties to pay something on chess.com with paypal. I don´t want to answer privately because there are many members with the same problems.
