I haven't been posting lately but every once in a while I just get irritated by such supreme lameness:

Allow me to sum up the reasons why this is stupid:
1. If you don't like the rules of the game, choose a different game
2. If you don't like to have to play "10's of moves" when up 5 points, choose a different game.
3. If it "takes too long" to deal with people who won't resign then, <wait for it> choose a different game.
4. If none of that helps play SPEED CHESS.
5. IF THAT doesn't help play UNRATED SPEED CHESS.

I recently made a similar thread: http://www.chess.com/forum/view/general/you-should-be-forced-to-resign?page=11 . It has seen little feedback that was not excitedly positive. I have already received some very encouraging messages from the staff. Thank you for your support.

Forced to resign? No no I wanted to spend more time with my family.
I think that some admin should come here and close and delete all these ridiculous threads.
Some dummy made a Trolljob and now the entire forum is seriously debating his stupid ideas.
forced resignations idea shows that some chess players are STUPID!
SNARK. Don't you just love it when a beginner level player decides that the rules of chess need to change because he doesn't like to play when he's ahead; as if he could really evaluate a position reliably and correctly. Power to the D player. whoot.
