Well, we got moved to "Off Topic" -- is that a good thing, or a bad thing?  And speaking of off-topic, football fans don't forget the big game tonight.  Go Giants!  And now, the G-List of Music!

Tough descisioin, love Phil Collin's voice, don't know the song. I'll have to go  with "We Got the Beat"

Good choice!  I am evolving .. had I thought earlier about it, I would have split Black Sabbath the same way, with Paranoid (Ozzie) and Mob Rules (Dio), for the B List, and I guess I should have included Phil Collins solo (You Can't Hurry Love) in the C List.  Oh well, live and learn, right?

Vance917

Garbage & Genesis -- can't beat that!

Vance917

Good choice!

kronick

...Long live the Grateful Dead!

Vance917

Keep on truckin!

Now you see I like a lot of these but not necessarily the same songs.

Garbage would have to be weak or hedonism.  Genesis any thing with Phil Collins (controversial I know) and Gun and Roses - Sweet Child of Mine/November Rain, Green Day - Basket Case or anything off the American Idiot Album and finally Goo Goo Dolls -Iris.

I really am such a girl at times! Is there any hope for me?

Vance917

None whatsoever!

My favorites are:

Genises - Congo

Goo Goo Dolls - Lazy Eye

Green Day - Hiching a Ride

sojourna

Nice list.

My vote goes to Green Day, though maybe another tune.

We need some G. Love and Special Sauce here, too. :)

Vance917

My next favorite Green Day song has to be Working Class Hero, followed by Long View, and I Fought the Law.  And I love the video of Walking Contradiction!

Vance917

I have to go with Rocket Queen, and Out Ta Get Me.  Plus their version of Live & Let Die.  Not to mention that other great song with the offensive words, which I am afraid to say I like for fear of being called, well, you get the point.

EnforcerT

Got to go with Godsmack....also like Truckin, but would rather listen to a set of Godsmack over a set of Grateful Dead unless I am overly intoxicated or on some good drugs, then go Jerry!!!

Vance917

That song was Awake was also used in a commercial for military recruiting a few years ago, so apparently Uncle Sam agrees with you!

Vance917

Oh, sorry.  No, I certainly don't know them.  I do know (and love) the New York Giants.  But then they were not so gentle Thursday night, were they?

Vance917

Well, here's one American that does not know them either.  I did love the movie "Groundhog Day", however.  I know, I am really striking out here!

Vance917

Gracias, I'll check them out!
