Finalized Bracket + Predictions

Hey guys. Most of you know what happened. Someone who finished in the top 8 last week allegedly plagiarized. we have heard of the accusations, and we've heard the explanation. We have concluded it was not full-on plagiarism. But we also concluded that we needed to re-judge the blog and give it a proper score with all the new information we had.

We did just that, and this person did not end up finishing in the top 8, thus leaving a spot open. With that, welcome @Renate-Irene to the Season 1 BlogChamps Knockouts as the #16 seed! Everyone originally seeded between between 11 and 16 has also moved up 1 spot. So most of the matchups have changed, as can be seen below.

The Knockouts will begin in 2 days on October 22nd and the 16 competitors will then have a week to write, post, and submit their blog. Check the club description for the countdown timer.

If you would like to predict the results of the Knockouts from beginning to end, whether you are competing, judging, or observing, go to https://challonge.com/t3um5nk6 and you should be able to fill out a bracket. This is just for fun, anyone can do it. Whoever submits the best bracket wins, uh, bragging rights. And maybe a spot in the Hall of Fame? Also, when it asks you for an email you can just put in a fake name like joe@gmail.com because they just need your email to send you a congratulations when you win, but we will announce that here. 

Finally, I just want to encourage you guys to not be harsh or rude about the alleged plagiarism that took place. The writer in question did their best to keep it from being plagiarism, and mostly did a good job. It wasn't that big of a deal, we just had to re-judge in the end and alter results. We believe we have made the best decision we could make here, all I ask is you are gracious and let the topic die. It doesn't need to be talked about anymore. We're moving on.
