LCPAL/Friendly this weekend

Good Morning US Chess

After a week off we are back to competition. On Saturday at 6:15pm Pacific/9:15pm Eastern, we will meet Uruguay Open for the first match of the LCPAL Bullet season. This season is a bit different because there are actually two divisions (A and B) in competition. We are assigned to division A. Once the smoke clears the team with the worst record in division A will slip to division B while in division B the best record will be promoted to Division A. So, you can see that it is very important for us to put the best possible team on the field every week.

On Sunday we will meet Team Spain Live in a pair of Friendly matches beginning with the Blitz set at 11:01am Pacific/2:01pm Eastern. This is immediately followed by the Rapid set beginning at 11:45pm Pacific/2:45pm Eastern. The links are posted below.

I am very pumped for the LCPAL, and I hope you are too. This is the first Bullet session in some time, so practice at that time set, you can bet your bottom dollar that our opponents will. I'll see you there on Saturday and on Sunday for the Friendly.
