Dear Chess Friends!

A king’s safety often determines the outcome of a chess game. The weaker the king’s pawn cover, the easier it is to attack — and understanding how to exploit those weaknesses is a crucial skill for any chess player.

In my upcoming workshop, we’ll explore how to recognize and create weaknesses in the king’s pawn structure, as well as how to launch powerful and effective attacks when those weaknesses arise. If you’ve ever struggled to convert an attack into a win or missed opportunities to break through an opponent’s defenses, this session is for you!

🗓 Date: 03/16
Time: 11 a.m. EDT, 3 p.m. UK time, 4 p.m. CET

During this workshop, you’ll learn:

  • How weakened pawn structures expose the king to attacks
  • Methods to provoke pawn weaknesses before launching an attack
  • The best piece setups for breaking through weakened defenses
  • Tactical themes that arise when the king’s pawn cover is compromised
  • Classic attacking patterns from master games

 Why should you attend?

Many players fail to capitalize on a weakened king’s position, either attacking too soon or not recognizing the right moment to strike. By mastering the art of weakening and attacking the king’s pawn cover, you’ll be able to convert more advantages into victories and improve your overall attacking play.

This workshop will provide you with practical tools and techniques that you can start applying in your games immediately.

See you at the workshop,
