Season 8 Kickoff! Qualifiers Week 1

With this announcement, I am pleased to open Week 1 of the Season 8 Qualifiers. Let the games begin!
"But Vanessa, wasn't it supposed to start on February 21st?"
Correct! That's what I have told you, but... I have never specified the time zone, so that means we can open it now, considering it's already February 21st in Kiribati(!). Therefore, we can start! This also gives you guys almost 24 more hours to submit. No need to thank me 
Here is how it will work: All 71 registered bloggers must submit a blog until February 28th at 23:59 EST (Eastern Standard Time). This is your only task, simple as that.
And how do you submit it? Very easy, all you have to do is paste the link to your blog (Which must have been published after this announcement) into this forum: Submission Forum - Season 8 Week 1

And another clarification: If you don't qualify in Week 1, there will still be a new chance in Week 2. Important: Week 2 is NOT an advanced phase, it's a new chance with exactly the same rules as Week 1. Many people seem to confuse it.
Remember that you can also enter the same blog into the monthly February competition of The Blogger Awards v2.0, where we will be awarding prizes to the best blogs in each of the different categories (thumbnail, title, writing, etc...), so you can find out more about where you did well and where you can improve!

1) "Oh my God! Time flies and I didn't realize the season was starting! Can I still register?"
Yes! Registration will be open until the end of the qualifiers, so feel free to register here: Season 8 Registration. As long as you publish and submit your blog within the deadlines, you are still good!

2) When will we know the results of Week 1 and the first eight qualified bloggers?
Probably between the 2nd and 5th of March, depending on how long the judging takes.
