Team Challenge - 1/3/21 - LRCA vs Radcliffe and Bingham

Good Evening everyone!

We have been challenged as the LRCA Leicestershire club to a team match by Radcliffe and Bingham Chess Club of Nottinghamshire. They have a team grade of around 1700-600 (chess.com ratings) but can rope in one or two 2000 rated players if necessary.

The match is proposed to take place on Monday 1st March and will REPLACE the usual blitz event on a Monday evening, with a start time of 7:30pm. The time controls will be far more serene with 20 minutes per player, with 10 second increments throughout. It is also proposed that we play one match against the same opponent with the white and black pieces, similar to the Wylie and Harrod Cups during the Summer months.

Places in the team will be on a first come, first serve basis, so if you are interested in playing, please contact me immediately to register for the event.
The team will be announced via a news thread like this, approximately 3-4 days before the match.
