USCF: 6th Camel City Open tournament on Saturday, December 9th

The WSCC will host the 6th Camel City Open tournament on Saturday, December 9th at the Greentree Community Center at 930 S. Broad St. in Winston-Salem. 

The event will be USCF Regular-rated for both adult/scholastic players and will consist of 3 rounds of over-the-board games.  The time control will be TC: G/75 w/d5.  Sections will be determined by the number of players participating and 1/2-pt BYE will be awarded to any player for any 1 of the 3 rounds providing he/she commits before the start of Rd. 1 at 10:00 a.m.

Registration consists of an entry fee of $25/USCF player and anyone interested can ask the Tournament Director(s) about registering for membership with the USCF. Registration at Greentree will be from 9:00 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. with Round #1 set to begin at 10:00 a.m. sharp ! The event should be completed no later than 6:30 p.m. --- spectators are welcome and ALL players are encouraged to bring boards/pieces/clocks/scoresheets/pens or pencils for purposes of recording move notation per USCF rules.

A skittles room will also be available for both playing casual games and studying/review of finished games.
