CCC24 Bullet
CCC24 Bullet will round out the final event in the CCC24 series. We've just had a taste of 1+1 time control in the Bullet Brawl: Spring 2025, which is our bi-annual rating event. For the first time since Torch's release, Torch has won an event beating out Stockfish! And while Torch's rating will appear higher than Stockfish's for the next six months, we caution you against being misled.
Prior to this event, we finished up our 4th iteration of the CCC Classical Cup, played at the 30+5 time control. Stockfish once again won, beating Torch with a score of 8.5-7.5 in the finals. Two bonus events were played. In the first, Torch bested Leela with a score of 55-45 in a 100 game head-to-head. In the second, Integral scored a powerful 29.5-20.5 against Caissa. Due to an oversight in the cup formatting, Caissa and Integral should have had a tie breaker for the seeding. Which would have likely saw Integral play, instead of Caissa.
Lastly, before laying out CCC24 Bullet, here is a recap of the clear top-3 engines; Stockfish, Torch, and Leela, over the last two years, spanning four CCC events.
CCC24 Bullet will include all of the engines featured in the Bullet Brawl: Spring 2025, with the exception of Heimdall which is still needing to fix some bugs, and Altair which had some issues during the brawl and is currently not actively developed.
