First let's discuss what was the idea was Erik Allebest who was the main force of creation behind chess.com . Other chess sites think that the chess app will be for playing , solving puzzles and computer and tournaments that's all . But ,Erik allebest thought chess.com will be for playing but also a community website . Erik Allebest thought We can make robots instead of that boring computers in other chess sites ( except lichess and chess24 ) . Why chess.com logo is the pawn or the green pawn? Pawn is the lowest piece but why Erik Allebest choices

Why the name of this chess app is chess.com ? It can be Kingchess.com ,chesspro.com , Superchess.com . But why simple chess.com ? Because chess.com is not a named thought by the owner. It is a domain International named Judged by World Chess leaders and Chess countries like India , Italy ,America ,UK , Turkey ,Berlin ,France etc . First when chess.com was created it was a rubbish site . No features , no bugs , no bots. Just play online and bots and tournaments. But , Erik Allebest Made the Webmaster of ches.com first unlike other chess sites make the playing interfarance first . Then after a 1 year or so It was known as Chess.com , The biggest online chess community .
