Desperate Sac.- Knight And Pawn Ending

Jan. 25, 2022 :  A Pawn down in a Knight+4P versus Knight+3P ending was looking rather discomforting for Black, especially since White's outside Rook Pawn was the extra one. So, as it meandered down, I sacrificed my Knight for it. Then, from moves 50-56, the Analysis shows it was at least a +44 White advantage. shock

However, on the next move, White had 3 choices. 57.Kd3 (+52) wins, because I have to move my King away and he captures my Pawn. 57.Kd1 (+52) also wins, as he can recreate this same position. 57.Kc1, however, doesn't win, as if his King ever moves away from his Knight, I'll capture it, and soon promote my Pawn, with his Pawn 2 moves short.

Thus, the position was completely equal. Definitely a lucky save! happy
