Chess in Bollywood Movies
Hello everyone and welcome back to Avnish's chess square, today's blog is very different from what you have been reading on this page. Today's blog is not about any game or instructive technique. I don't know about others but I get excited when I see my favourite celeb and a chess board in one frame. Watching chess scene in movies is a delight, even if that scene lasts for few seconds, it never goes unnoticed especially when you are a chess player yourself!

In the scene, Arun the hero of movie is seen checkmating the negative character, Thakral who saved his Queen and forgot about King's safety.

4. Wazir (2016)
Wazir (Queen in Indian chess) means high ranking minister.

6. Chichore (2019)
Even though the involvement of the game was minimal, this one is definitely special. Here the player with White pieces talks about studying Garry Kasparov's game and sacrifices his Queen! The game was similiar to that of played by Garry Kasparov.
