How To Crush A Super Grandmaster (2700+)

In chess, we have a whole range of skill levels. Beginners to Candidate Masters to Grandmasters, with many in between. I fall into something like class B. Kids dream about become Grandmasters, but that is not the top level.

A super GM is somebody rated above 2700, so only the very best players on the planet.  After super GM though, you have something called a Magnus Carlsen.

Being a tier or two above most of his competition, it's not surprising he keeps winning. Sometimes, he dominates super Grandmasters. Here is a game where he did that against Yu Yangyi, a 2736.

Carlsen really is a one in several billion player. It's just unbelievable how talented he is. Comment if you think he'll beat Caruana.
