League Division Explained

You probably got an achievement saying " congratulations, you advanced to the bronze league, or silver league, or stone league, or something else. 

So, what are leagues?

Well, they are divisions that divide the chess.com members into different sections based on their time and skill. 

The "currency" in the system are trophies

The Leagues

First, you need to get familiar with the leagues

All players start in the wood league, then they advance through the following leagues:
Wood League

Stone League

Bronze League

Silver League

Crystal League

Elite League

Champion League

Legend League

The Legend league is the top, or you can say the best.

You need to advance through the system. To advance, you need to finish in certain rank by the end of the week every Sunday. 

To get in the ranks, you need trophies

Trophies

You get different numbers of trophies depending on type

Bullet

Win - 3 trophies

Draw - 1 trophy

Lose - 0 trophies

Blitz

Win - 9 trophies

Draw - 3 trophies

Lose - 0 trophies

Rapid 

Win - 15 trophies

Draw - 5 trophies

Lose - 0 trophies

Arena 

Bonus for all

Rank

Wood - top 20 to qualify

Stone - top 15

Bronze - top 10

Silver - top 5

Crystal - top 3

Elite - top 3

Champion - top 1

Legend - final
