Get your act together!
(Beat Reporter: Mark LaRocca) The Boston Blitz began this season just as they began last season, that is, letting the netted fish slip away and drawing matches that they must win. If this season is to be a success, they must turn this trend into a ghost of the past. Certainly, they are the favorites this week as they outrate their opponents significantly on the first two boards. However, all that this means is that they must win on these two boards. Let the Inventors draw one, or, God forbid, both of these games, and the tables can turn quickly. That said, I expect a (3 – 1) Boston win. No excuses, and no complaining, we need this one badly. The tough matches are coming, and the season is short.

Oh, I must apologize on my tardiness with the first weeks game analysis. It was such a disappointing draw against the Carolina Cobras that I just couldn’t find the energy, or is it interest, to review it. This is a common struggle I face as a fan/blogger. I hope to have time to post it this week, which will make for a lot of reading for those loyal Blitz fans. In any case, let’s get on the Blitz bandwagon and root them back to their winning ways of old. Come on guys, get your act together. GO BLITZ!
