How to get across 1000 elo

Have ever wanted to cross 1000 elo and you feel stuck. Here is my 4 points to get across 1000 elo

1. You are not spending enough time on moves.

If you are playing a 10 min game please stop making moves in 0.1 sec. spend enough time to think what does my opponent want to do, and don't be selfish take time to think. spend about 10 sec every move.

2. You don't do puzzles.

Doing puzzles is necessary for getting better. Like simple checkmate patterns with Queen, and rook. Do puzzles that help you win material in tight positions. spend about 5 min every day doing puzzles

3. Stop playing Blitz and bullet.

Yes it is fun, but for improving at the game Stick to playing rapid. You don't have to play 60 min. just play 10 min.

4. analyze your games.

 If you are that person to lose a game and then just start a new game, this is why you are not getting across 1000. Chess.com has an Game review you can use if you have a membership. But if you don't use the engine and analyze games your self. spend about 5 min after your game to analyze.
