April At ChessKid: Discounts And Double Championship Tournaments!

Hey ChessKids and ChessKid Parents! 

Earlier this year we began hosting a revamped version of the Mighty Monthly Matchup -- The ChessKid Monthly Championship! This renovated tournament came with a host of new features. The champion gets to play FunMasterMike during an episode of Beat FunMasterMike, AND he/she gets entered into an end-of-the-year tournament. We also keep a log of the winners for posterity.

We heard from some of you internationally that it's been difficult to join the regular tourney (we hold it in the Pacific time zone). We listened! For April, we'll be hosting a special double edition on Tuesday, April 6th. You can stream both versions on Twitch, YouTube, and Chess.com/TV. 

The "early edition" will be held at 12:30PM CET / 4PM India / 8:30PM Sydney. The stream will be hosted by IM Rakesh Kulkarni (CKRakesh), the ChessKid Director of India. 

The "later edition" will be held at 3:30PM PT / 6:30PM ET. The stream will be hosted by NM James Canty III (JediMaster).
