News | NEW: Lessons Get a New Look
Hello everyone, have a look in Lessons in chess.com.
Did you realise any change? Yes, the page is Updated. I received this from Chess.com Beta.
Today their opening a brand new lessons product.
What’s New?
The Old lessons page was ‘ok’ but now as they have released the new version, there are many new things.
This version can help you so much.
The new version of Lessons changes that and improves the way Courses are presented.
Let’s take a look on the new update!
In general, Courses may be viewed on either of two tabs: Guide and All Lessons. The "Guide" tab always provides a handy way to get to our featured curriculum for Chess learners: a comprehensive Chess course that can take a new player all the way from learning how the Knight moves to advanced topics in strategy, openings and endgames. With a tab of its own, this core learning content will always be easy to find.
You can manually mark courses. Means: If you have already finished the lesson, you can put “Marked as Completed”.
So you can focus on what matters at your level!
The All Lessons tab is more inclusive (of course!), and provides advanced Lesson Search features. By default, the tab shows you the most recent Lessons added to the library. Use the handy buttons to filter by theme (Openings, Strategy, Tactics, Endgames, Master Games), and/or search by Instructor or Category. You will find Courses on all topics - for all levels of player.
With each Lesson you take, you will earn a point toward the next Learning Rank, visible in the side panel of new Lessons pages. The Pawn highlighted will promote to a Knight, Rook etc. if you complete the particular lesson
Beta made some fun changes and improvements to Lesson challenges as well - for instance, adding some personality with Coach/author avatars!
That’s it for my article, chess.com has given all a opportunity to learn chess, so learn as much as possible
