Gladiator League | Season 3 Rules/Registration

Due to unforeseen circumstances, @bruvoskity will no longer be able to organize season three of The Gladiator league, so myself, @redloudcar, and @Peace-on-Earth7 have stepped up to the task. Some things will be different. For example, there will not be a roman take on everything, nor will there be bizarre twitter posts. However, as much as possible will be the same.

Prizes will include the following;

Top points earner for the winning club--- 1 month diamond membership

2nd point earner for the winning club--- 1 month diamond membership

3rd point earner for the winning club--- 1 month diamond membership

Only the club which has achieved the most points in Season 3 will win the prizes

 The top club in Season 3 will earn a full month of diamond Membership for its top 3 players.

1. League Format

1.1 The Gladiator League is a set of 4 Multiple Club Arena tournaments that take place for 4 weekends in a row.

1.2 Throughout these four events each club will accumulate arena points from each of the arenas

1.3 The Team(s) with the biggest number of accumulated points after the final arena has been completed, will be named the winner(s)
1.4 Season 3 Arenas will be 4 hours of 30sec hyper.

1.5 The 4 arenas will take place at 9:00 a.m. C.S.T.  every saturday, starting with April 12th, and ending 3rd May.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Club must be a minimum of 3 months old (at start of season)
2.2 Club must have a minimum of 30 members 
2.3 Club must have completed live club events in the past (ie club tournament, live matches or multi club arena)
2.4 Clubs that entered previous seasons who did not score any points will be barred from further participation

2.5 A single admin may only enter a maximum of 3 clubs in GL

3. Fair Play

3.1 IF in the event that fair play violations are suspected, please contact @ChessicalMoves, or @redloudcar immediately as well as send in a report against the player you think may have cheated. GL policy is to rely heavily on Chess.com cheat detection to ensure play is safe here.

3.2 If in the event a report is given, club points earned by that player will be withheld during the period of probation we will look into the report

3.3 If a member of your club has been closed for cheating and the offense was done in GL arenas that club is permanently banned from any and all future seasons of GL

4. Registration

4.2 There is a limit of 20 clubs per season, so register now before it's too late

4.3 Registration will open to the public on April 2nd, 2025. 

5. Informing Club Members

5.1 It is important to fully inform your club members of the importance of this event.

5.2 Important information that your members will enjoy include:

• Club Leaderboards which will include a new All time leaderboard as well as the current season's leaderboard
