I Outcalculated Stockfish

Hi. I'm David Chedester, a 1422 USCF Player. On April 14, 2025, at around 5:50 P.M, I played the most shocking line I've ever seen, let alone, play. On move 18, I thought for 20 minutes to find an 18 move line Stockfish didn't see.

The highlight move of this game is 21. Ba3!!, which, from the blog's picture, is notated with !!! instead of the usual !!. This is because this move is so difficult to even consider due to the uncertainty of the lines behind it, but I channeled the Magician of Riga's intuition to the max, "freeing" myself from the boundaries of my elo, and Stockfish's elo, and playing an 18 move line that had 3 brilliant moves and 10 great moves, meaning 16 out of the 18 moves were me basically walking the plank between winning the game, and losing the game. Take a look at the game, and let me know what you think!

David Chedester is a 1422 USCF Player, Region VII Scholastic Representative (Texas Chess Association), and loves to do Math. David started his chess career when he was 13, taking the Chess Merit Badge in Boy Scouts. At 15, he played in his first chess tournament, winning 1st Place with a score of 4/5 with 3 wins and 2 draws. His best USCF win to date was against the Coastal Bend's Local TD, Johan Fjeld (1874 at the time)
Now at 17, his chess.com rating is 1855, and he's hoping to get to 1500 USCF and 2000 Chess.com.
