Sokolsky/Polish Opening (1.b4) - Dutch Defense

The diagram below displays the starting position of the Dutch Defense in the 1. b4 opening. This is a fairly rare defense which Black uses in high level games.

With their first moves White and Black clearly show their plan. In response to White's activity on the queenside Black prepares the attack on the kingside. 

In the forthcoming fierce battle White has more attacking possibilities and can successfully attack on the queenside.

Schiffler Gambit

If Black plays 2... e6 instead of 2... Nf6 White can choose an aggressive gambit 3. e4!? 

Well, the consequences of Black's 4... Ke7 are not studied and unclear due to the scanty amount of games played with this gambit (which means it is not necessarily bad for Black). The same is for the Schiffler Gambit (Declined) variations. These lines are to be examined more closely in practice.
