everyday i am shuffling | returning to chess.com ❤️
so far 2021 has been a very interesting year with lots of tragic events taking place and some major upsets such as my old disappearance and reasoning behind my absences. however i am now reborn into this new person and i am happy to share my chess journey throughout this month as i finally broke 2400 BULLET and my milestone of 2300 blitz which is awesome. the wins were very hard and i would like to try and break down the aspects of how i got there.
Blitz or Bullet? How about Both?
as most of you know speed chess is a format which revolves around players using short time in their games which can lead to very climatic endings and entertaining matches. blitz is a time of control of 5 minutes or less while bullet is simply less than 2 minutes. we are first going to look into the blitz milestone as that one was more harder to breakthrough, the game itself which got me to 2300 wasnt exciting but it still can be learned from overall.
so what can we learn from the blitz milestone? of course it was kinda lucky as i won by disconnection, well not rlly disconnection but he simply just stalled or left the game i believe which is weird but then again it happens. the game just shows that you have to know your lines and play very precisely cause if not you will get in really bad positions like me. now that we kind of delved into my 2300 milestone, lets go into the more exciting bullet milestone.
now this game was also a very weird ending but hey i cant guarantee that all games will look clean at all but what i will say is that i tried to be the best i could and succeeded. the game itself represents what bullet really means, a time control that centers around chaos, dirty tricks, puzzles/tactics, and patterns. i lefonged my opponent and well the rest was more easily handed but still that was a very flashy way to win 2400 and it was fun for me.
happy holidays to everyone
that will be it for my blog today and i know it was somewhat short but i really am trying to get back into the game and next blog will be more fun and spicer as well so get ready. it feels so great to be back on chess.com and i am hoping to reinvent myself and become much greater in the eyes of my peers. with that being said i hope everyone had an amazing christmas last night, cheers to all the families, please stay safe and i wish you all a happy new year ❤️
