In the captivating city of Samarkand, where history whispers through ancient monuments, the World Chess Rapid tournament reached its crescendo with Game 4. As the players entered the chess arena, the focus shifted to the endgame, weaving a tapestry of strategic intricacies, tactical brilliance, and the pursuit of checkmate in this enthralling chess odyssey.

Once again world number 1 GM Magnus Carlsen demonstrated his dominance over the chess board by winning a 86 Move game against GM Parham Maghsoodloo. Although Magnus had a slight hiccup as after he had played 86. Kb7 his opponent called the arbiter claiming a 50 move rule. After a couple minutes the arbiters came to a conclusion that it wasn't a 50 move rule and GM Maghsoodloo resigned soon after.
