FORKS INTURDUCTION

Another strong chess tactic is a fork.  It's very strong and is used to win material usually made by knights but a pawn can make one too!

KNIGHT FORKS

This is a fork.  A knight attacking the queen and the rook.  Black has to save his queen otherwise he will lose it.  Then the knight captures the rook.  See if you can make a fork!

Now let's take a look at pawn forks!

PAWN FORKS

Pawn forks are when a pawn attacks a knight or something and gets it.  The pawn is attacking diagnoly so you win a piece.
