I am not sure about the exact concept of each tier, the order, the real difference between tiers, or the choices available, but I affected these tiers by the accuracy of the games, and the fact of being a world champion.

My ultimate (subjective but honest) top ten list of the best chess players of history (until 2020) goes like this (the criteria are: accuracy of the games, being a world champion, years of dominance, and impact), each player is very close to the next:
