“A Bust To The King’s Gambit”
Hello everyone, I’m back once again this time with a piece of chess history as well as a meme to go along with it.
After losing a game to the King’s Gambit in 1960, Bobby Fischer immediately got to work finding the best way to fight against it. Then, in 1961 he published "A Bust to the King's Gambit", wherein he claimed, "In my opinion the King's Gambit is busted. It loses by force." Fischer concluded the article by saying , "Of course White can always play differently, in which case he merely loses differently.”
