John 5:19-47 speaks of JESUS' Equality with GOD (Zechariah 13:7), though HE did indeed Empty HIMSELF taking the form of a Bond-Servant (Philippians 2:1-16) and being found in Appearance as a Man walked in obedience to The FATHER, In The Power Of The SPIRIT; being The Perfect Example to all in things pertaining to GOD and for us to become imitators of.
For example,
In Baptism: Matthew 3:13-17 - Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38.
In preaching The Gospel of The Kingdom Of GOD: Mark 1:14, Luke 4:17-19, Luke 4:43-44 - Galatians 3:8, Mark 16:15, 1 Peter 1:10-25, Romans 16:25-27, Colossians 1:23.
In doing The Will Of GOD from the heart: John 4:34, John 5:30, Hebrews 10:5-10 - Galatians 1:3-5, John 1:11-14, Matthew 7:21, Matthew 12:47-50, Mark 3:35, Romans 12:1-3, 1 Peter 2:13-25.
...And when you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, HE Made you alive together with HIM, having Forgiven us all our transgressions, having cancelled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us which was hostile to us; and HE has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. When HE had Disarmed the rulers and authorities.
HE (The FATHER) Made a public display of them, having Triumphed over them Through HIM (The SON)...
Colossians 2:13-15.
Some will take Colossians 2:13-14 as evidence in Scripture of and meaning that they are Saved to the point of being unable to go back to death, Judgement and eternal separation from GOD.
While there are also some who believe that it is possible for others to do so but do not recognise it, and so they do not acknowledge it as being possible for themselves.
You will find such thinking being in those who themselves are quick to Spiritually appraise other in deeming their unworthiness, while they will themselves commend themselves.
All of which, of course, being contrary to Scripture and living upholding Scripture (Matthew 13:24-50, 1 Corinthians 2:9-16, John 3:16-17, James 4:11-12, 1 Corinthians 4:5).
Like clouds and wind without rain is a man who boasts of his gifts falsely.
Proverbs 25:14.
Those who forsake The Law praise the wicked, but those who keep The Law strive with them.
Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek The LORD understand all things.
Proverbs 28:4-5.
But those that do so are those who fail to recognise all their own conduct, word and deed, in when their living is contrary to JESUS CHRIST and of obedience to The Gospel and conviction in and by the discipline Of The LORD by HIS SPIRIT.
Now The LORD Is The SPIRIT; and where The SPIRIT Of The LORD Is, is Liberty (Freedom of and from the flesh).
But we all (are to be), with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror The Glory Of The LORD, (and) are (to be) being Transformed into the same Image from glory to Glory, just as from The LORD, The SPIRIT...
2 Corinthians 3:17-18.
It is an example of when Scripture is distorted to mean what some want it to mean in their not understanding and in their ignorance to the truth of The Gospel and of repentance for the Forgiveness of sins, being unable to recognise and refusing other places in Scripture that warn of walking contrary to GOD and the consequences of doing so stipulated therein, and so, their belief of and interpretation of Scripture will hold contradiction.
For an example, such as:
..."For if you forgive men for their transgressions, your Heavenly FATHER will also Forgive you.
"But if you do not forgive men, then your Heavenly FATHER will not Forgive your transgressions... Matthew 6:14-15.
This is Spiritual Truth told us by The LORD JESUS and after HIS Instruction of our praying, in which we pray, 'And Forgive us our trespasses, as we (in like manner as we ourselves) forgive those who trespass against us,' written in verse 12.
And yet many stand in The Name of a Christian not doing so and not knowing to being able do so according to GOD, because they cannot recognise that they, contrary to The Blessed GOD and HIS Glorious Gospel, actually live with an attitude of judgement and condemnation of and over others.
A perfect example of this would be calvinism.
When in anger and we retaliate when wronged, and our anger, being no less than an instant demand of retribution, it is that we offer nothing other than instant judgement, our own judgement; we are, in our flesh, standing as judge over another.
It is not knowing mercy and grace.
Such a spirit in a man is not knowing, not hearing, and is consequently being contrary to the conduct of children Of GOD being according to their Heavenly FATHER;
"But I Say to you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.
"Whoever hits you on the cheek, offer him the other also; and whoever takes away your coat, do not withhold your shirt from him either.
"Give to everyone who asks of you and whoever takes away what is yours, do not demand it back.
"And just as you want people to treat you, treat them in the same way (Matthew 7:12).
"And if you love those who love you, what credit is to you? (this word translated here as credit is, in the Greek, Charis; Grace) For even sinners love those who love them.
"And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit (Grace) is to you? For even sinners do the same.
"And if you lend to those from whom you expect to receive, what credit (Grace) is to you? Even sinners lend to sinners in order to receive back the same.
"But love your enemies and do good and lend, expecting nothing in return; and your Reward will be Great and you will be sons Of The MOST HIGH; for HE HIMSELF Is Kind (the Greek, Chrēstos, meaning Gracious; Ephesians 4:32) to ungrateful and evil men.
"Be merciful, just as your FATHER Is Merciful.
"And do not judge and you will not be Judged; and do not condemn and you will not be Condemned; pardon and you will be Pardoned.
"Give and it will be Given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, they will pour into your lap. For by your standard of measure it will be Measured to you in return."...
Luke 6:27-38.
Or when we reject another because of something we have been told of them and even without hearing both sides.
Then we are no more than talebearers and whisperers, acting contrary to GOD (Romans 1:29-30, 2 Corinthians 12:20) and do not live as establishing The Law through faith in our walk (Romans 3:31).
Words from the mouth of a wise man are gracious, while the lips of a fool consume him; the beginning of his talking is folly and the end of it is wicked madness.
Ecclesiastes 10:12-13.
In any case, we are never to merely accuse any of wrongdoing, but must also with the accusation bear witness to the wrongdoing and also understand that by the mouth of two or three witnesses every fact may be established.
He who gives an answer before he hears, it is folly and shame to him.
Proverbs 18:13
The first to plead his case seems just, until another comes and examines him.
Proverbs 18:17
He who conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will find compassion.
How Blessed is the man who fears always, but he who hardens his heart will fall into calamity.
Proverbs 28:13-14.
"Do not judge lest you be Judged.
"For in the way you judge, you will be Judged; and by your standard of measure it will be Measured to you.
"And why do you look at the speck that is in your Brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?
"Or how can you say to your Brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' and behold, the log that is in your own eye?
"You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your Brother's eye...
Matthew 7:1-5.
In The LORD we are supposed to recognise that there is always protocol to follow and is always to be according to HIS Word.
Those who do not know The LORD will be ignorant to how GOD Instructs, but those who profess to know HIM are then not to walk in ignorance to HIS Instruction.
It has always been this way.
"On the evidence of two witnesses or three witnesses, he who is to die shall be put to death; he shall not be put to death on the evidence of one witness.
Deuteronomy 17:6
"A single witness shall not rise up against a man on account of any iniquity or any sin which he has committed; on the evidence of two or three witnesses a matter shall be confirmed...
Deuteronomy 19:15
Do not receive an accusation against an elder except on the basis of two or three witnesses.
Those who continue to sin rebuke in the presence of all, so that the rest also may be fearful.
I solemnly charge you in The Presence Of GOD and Of CHRIST JESUS and of Chosen angels, to maintain these principles without bias, doing nothing in a spirit of partiality.
1 Timothy 5:19-21
... Anyone who has set aside The Law of Moses dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.
How much severer punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled under foot The SON Of GOD and has regarded as unclean The Blood Of The Covenant by which he was Sanctified and has insulted The SPIRIT Of Grace?
For we know HIM WHO Said,
"Vengeance Is MINE, I Will Repay."
And again,
"The LORD Will Judge HIS people."
It is a terrifying thing to fall into The Hands Of The Living GOD...
Hebrews 10:28-31.
For our proud confidence is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in Holiness and Godly sincerity, not in fleshly wisdom but in The Grace Of GOD, we have conducted ourselves in the world and especially toward you.
For we write nothing else to you than what you read and understand, and I hope you will understand until the end (The Day Of our LORD JESUS);...
2 Corinthians 1:12-13.
But do we understand in that we live by such Godly Knowledge in all sincerity?
Many of us clearly do not.
...Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such as is good for edification according to the need, that it may give Grace to those who hear.
And do not grieve The HOLY SPIRIT Of GOD, By WHOM you were Sealed for The Day Of Redemption.
Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamour and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.
And be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as GOD In CHRIST also has Forgiven us.
Therefore be imitators of GOD, as Beloved children; and walk in love, just as CHRIST also loved us and Gave HIMSELF Up for us, an Offering and a Sacrifice to GOD as a Fragrant Aroma...
Ephesians 4:29 - 5:2.
And what constitutes an unwholesome word?
It is any corrupt, unfit for purpose communication as a follower of CHRIST in Truth.
...By this the children Of GOD and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice Righteousness is not Of GOD, nor the one who does not love his Brother.
For this is The Message which you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another;...
1 John 3:10-11.
Love does no wrong to a neighbour; love therefore is the fulfillment of The Law.
Romans 13:10.
The Righteous one considers the house of the wicked, turning the wicked to ruin.
Proverbs 21:12
For any who will stand as a Christian, to merely shrug off what any show from The Word in Truth is the very example of arrogance in disobedience to The Word.
It is to repudiate The Word, and those who will repudiate The Word Of GOD are truly those who count themselves unworthy of Eternal Life; they stand being self-condemned (e.g., Acts 13:44-48).
The Promise of Eternal Life is not according to the flesh, not according to any rule and authority of men; but is according to The SPIRIT (John 6:63-64).
It is why Paul states,
...Of this Church I was Made a minister according to the stewardship from GOD Bestowed on me for your benefit, that I might fully carry out The Word Of GOD, The Mystery which has been Hidden from the past ages and generations; but now has been Manifested to HIS Saints, to whom GOD Willed to make known what is the Riches Of The Glory of this Mystery among the Gentiles, which is CHRIST In you, The Hope Of Glory.
And we proclaim HIM, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, that we may present every man complete In CHRIST.
And for this purpose also I labour, striving according to HIS Power, which Mightily Works within me.
Colossians 1:25-29.
Every overseer in every Church, whatever his position in HIS Church, and everyone who lays claim to being a follower of JESUS CHRIST must take heed.
Take heed or face the consequence of disobedience which The LORD HIMSELF shall Recompense to every man; no partiality.
The Wrath Of GOD Abides on the sons of disobedience.
Therefore consider the members of your earthly body as dead to immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire and greed, which amounts to idolatry.
For it is on account of these things that The Wrath Of GOD Comes Upon the sons of disobedience.
And in them you also once walked, when you were living in them.
But now you also, put them all aside:
anger, wrath, malice, slander, abusive speech from your mouth.
Do not lie to one another, since you laid aside the old self with its practices and have put on the New self who is being Renewed to a True Knowledge according to The ONE WHO Created him...
Colossians 3:5-10
To all In CHRIST who truly know to keep themselves in the love Of GOD; because they walk abiding in love; The Word Of GOD is to them that which shall certainly perform Its work in them (1 Thessalonians 2:13-16); because they live truly believing; according to The GOD Breathed Word Itself through their Saving faith in JESUS CHRIST and will, according to all GOD HIMSELF Says, prove themselves a doer of The Word and not just of hearers who delude themselves (James 1:19-25).
A Christian who is a Christian indeed is not one who walks to receive The Grace Of GOD in vain, but is one who shall look to walk, always; in purity, in knowledge, in patience, in kindness, in The HOLY SPIRIT, in genuine love, in The Word Of Truth, in The Power Of GOD; by the weapons of Righteousness for the right hand and the left, by glory and dishonour, by evil report and good report; regarded as deceivers and yet true; as unknown yet Well-Known, as dying yet behold, we live; as punished yet not put to death, as sorrowful yet always rejoicing, as poor yet making many Rich, as having nothing yet possessing all things.
2 Corinthians 6:6-10.
These are those indeed whom The FATHER has brought forth by The Word Of Truth (James 1:18).
These are those who do not walk in craftiness or adulterating The Word Of GOD, but by Manifestation of Truth commend themselves to every man's conscience in The Sight Of GOD (2 Corinthians 4:2).
They do not hold their faith in a spirit of partiality.
How can a young man keep his way pure?
By keeping according to THY Word.
Psalm 119:9 (John 15:1-6, 2 Timothy 3:15-17).
My soul cleaves to the dust; Revive me according to THY Word
Psalm 119:25 (Romans 8:1-14).
My soul weeps because of grief; Strengthen me according to THY Word.
Psalm 119:28 (Ephesians 3:16-21).
May THY Lovingkindness also come to me, O LORD, THY Salvation according to THY Word.
Psalm119:41 (Hebrews 8:10-12).
I entreated THY Favour with all my heart; Be Gracious to me according to THY Word.
Psalm 119:58 (Hebrews 10:19-25).
O may THY Lovingkindness Comfort me, according to THY Word to THY servant.
Psalm 119:76 (2 Corinthians 1:3-7).
My soul languishes for THY Salvation; I wait for THY Word.
Psalm 119:81 (2 Corinthians 4:16-18, 2 Corinthians 12:9-10).
Sustain me according to THY Word, that I may live; And do not let me be ashamed of my Hope.
Psalm 119:116 (Romans 5:1-5, Romans 10:8-11).
Let my cry come before THEE, O LORD; Give me Understanding according to THY Word.
Let my supplication come before THEE; Deliver me according to THY Word.
Let my tongue sing of THY Word, for all THY Commandments Are Righteousness.
Let THY Hand be ready to Help me, for I have chosen THY Precepts.
I long for THY Salvation, O LORD, and THY Law is my delight.
Let my soul live that I may praise THEE, and Let THINE Ordinances Help me.
I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek THY servant, for I do not forget THY Commandments. (John 13:34-35).
Psalm 119:169-176.
...for all have sinned and fall short of The Glory Of GOD, being Justified as a Gift By HIS Grace Through The Redemption which is In CHRIST JESUS; WHOM GOD Displayed publicly as A Propitiation In HIS Blood through faith.
To demonstrate HIS Righteousness, because in the Forebearance Of GOD HE Passed Over the sins previously committed; for the Demonstration of HIS Righteousness at the present time, that HE might be Just and The Justifier of the one who has faith in JESUS.
Where then is boasting?
It is excluded.
By what kind of Law?
Of works?
No, but by a Law of faith...
Romans 3:23-27.
GOD Is Faithful; HE cannot deny HIMSELF.
Therefore, HE cannot act contrary to HIS Word.
We are Delivered according to HIS Word and this cannot be when we live as being disobedient to The Word Of GOD; our being faithless in our denying HIM (2 Timothy 2:1-15).
If we are living contrary to HIS Word then we shall be Judged by The Law through and because of our proving to being transgressors of The Law;
...For there is no partiality with GOD.
For all who have sinned without The Law will also perish without The Law; and all who have sinned under The Law will be Judged by The Law; for not the hearers of The Law are Just before GOD, but the doers of The Law will be Justified... (Romans 3:31).
Romans 2:11-13.
Love is the fulfillment of The Law and those who truly love GOD know to and seek to always keep HIS Commandments.
They will know repentance to their overcoming (1 John 5:4, Revelation 2:7, Revelation 2:11, Revelation 2:17, Revelation 2:26, Revelation 3:5, Revelation 3:12, Revelation 3:21).
To overcome is to Inherit The New Heaven and New Earth, The New Jerusalem, where GOD Will Dwell among men and they shall be HIS people and GOD HIMSELF Shall be among them, WHO Will Wipe away every year from their eyes; and there shall no longer be death; there shall no longer be mourning, or crying, or pain...
...And HE WHO Sits On The Throne Said,
"Behold, I AM Making All Things New."
And HE Said,
"Write, for these Words Are Faithful And True."
And HE Said to me,
"It Is Done. I AM The ALPHA And The OMEGA, The BEGINNING And The END. I Will Give to the one who thirsts from The Spring Of The Water Of Life without cost.
"He who overcomes shall Inherit these things and I Will Be his GOD and he will be MY son.
"But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."
Revelation 21:1-8.
As GOD HIMSELF Says of the here and now,
..."Sanctify them in The Truth; THY Word Is Truth..." John 17:17.
Let the heavens be glad and let the earth rejoice; let the sea roar and all it contains; let the field exult and all that is in it.
Then all the trees of the forest will sing for joy before The LORD, for HE Is Coming; For HE Is Coming to Judge the earth.
HE Will Judge the world in Righteousness and the peoples in HIS Faithfulness.
Psalm 96:11-13.
Lying lips are an abomination to The LORD, but those who deal faithfully are HIS Delight.
A prudent man conceals knowledge, but the heart of fools proclaims folly.
Proverbs 12:22-23
A wicked messenger falls into adversity, but a faithful envoy brings healing.
Poverty and shame to him who neglects discipline, but he who regards reproof will be honoured.
Proverbs 13:17-18.
"He who is faithful in a very little thing is faithful also in much; and he who is unrighteous in a very little thing is unrighteous also in much.
Luke 16:10
Just as Paul writes,
I thank my GOD always concerning you, for The Grace Of GOD which was Given you In CHRIST JESUS, that in everything you were enriched In HIM, in all speech and in all Knowledge, even as The Testimony concerning CHRIST was confirmed in you, so that you are not lacking in any Gift, awaiting eagerly The Revelation Of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, WHO Shall also Confirm you to the end, blameless in The Day Of our LORD JESUS CHRIST.
GOD Is Faithful, Through WHOM you were Called into fellowship with HIS SON, JESUS CHRIST.
Now I exhort you, Brethren, by The Name Of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, that you all agree and there be no divisions among you, but you be made Complete in the same mind and in the same judgement.
1 Corinthians 1:4-10.
...It is a trustworthy statement deserving full acceptance.
For it is for this we labour and strive, because we have fixed our hope on The Living GOD, WHO Is The SAVIOUR Of all men, especially of believers.
Prescribe and teach these things...
1 Timothy 4:9-11.
Our walking in Newness of Life; no longer walking as slaves to sin.
... Therefore we have been buried with HIM through Baptism into death, in order that as CHRIST was Raised from the dead Through The Glory Of The FATHER, so we too might walk in Newness of Life.
For if we have become United with (JESUS) in the likeness of HIS death, certainly we shall be also of HIS Resurrection...
Romans 6:4-5 (1 Peter 4:1-2).
Ephesians 2:1-10. Titus 3:1-11.
We who are Christians, through faith are to live to die to sin, and having died to that which we were once enslaved to, that sin no longer is master over us; not living as we lived before we first confessed JESUS LORD, understanding that we cannot remain in the world as being of the world; that we are not our own anymore, we are reconciled to GOD Through CHRIST.
But not all who profess The Name walk understanding as they ought, but they remain on in the flesh, being faithless, walking according to the flesh, arguing according to the flesh against and being contrary to all sound judgement in Godly wisdom.
These are the living dead; who do not have Eternal Life abiding in them anymore than an unbeliever who also walks, though alive yet dead in their trespasses.
And these are the many, and not of the few.
Make sure you are of the Chosen; test yourselves; examine yourselves.
"For many are Called, but few Chosen."
Matthew 22:1-16 (v 16).
They are those who will refuse what I write here, even though in it all I am standing on The Word Of GOD in my writing, attempting to show error to both them and to those who will be taken in by them in their error; in both their understanding and how they will see themselves and conduct themselves towards both believers and outsiders; which must always be according to GOD and all HIS Word.
That they may know repentance wherever repentance is needed and is not yet recognised, so that they do not perish through their disobedience to The Word.
As it is in The Will Of GOD that none perish but that all come to repentance, then it will be the will of HIS children also.
When we choose to sin; willfully sinning when we turn from GOD, we are again walking along the broad way that leads to destruction; we are not abiding in love; we are not keeping ourselves in the love Of GOD (Jude:17-23).
In our trespassing, walking where and how we should not walk, we have strayed from The Narrow Path and on to the broad way that leads to destruction.
Repentance is absolutely required.
But there are many false teachings which do not teach its followers to understand this.
But instead they believe, still in arrogance and still in their fleshly mind, that they walk towards their redemption and to Life, and accordingly they cannot see to understand Scripture which warns.
...Take care, Brethren, lest there should be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart, in falling away from The Living GOD.
But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is called "Today," lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
For we have become partakers of CHRIST, if we hold fast the beginning of our assurance firm until the end; while It Is Said,
"Today if you hear HIS Voice, do not harden your hearts, as when they provoked ME."
For who provoked when they had heard?
Indeed, did not all those who came out of Egypt by Moses?
And with whom was HE Angry for forty years?
Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
And to whom did HE Swear that they should not enter HIS Rest, but to those who were disobedient?
And we see that they were not able to enter because of unbelief.
Therefore, let us fear lest, while a Promise remains of entering HIS Rest any one of you should seem to have come short of it.
For indeed we have had Good News preached to us, just as they also; but The Word they heard did not profit them, because it was not united by faith in those who heard.
Therefore we who have believed enter that Rest, just as HE Has Said,
"As I Swore In MY Wrath, they shall not enter MY Rest," although HIS Works were finished from The Foundation of the world.
For HE has thus Said somewhere concerning the seventh day,
"And GOD Rested On The Seventh Day From All HIS Works"; and again in this, "They Shall Not Enter MY Rest."
Since therefore it remains for some to enter it and those who formerly had Good News preached to them failed to enter because of disobedience, HE again fixes a certain day, "Today," Saying Through David after so long a time just as has been said before,
"Today if you hear HIS Voice, do not harden your hearts."...
