Most common beginner chess mistakes
1. Premoving your openings.
Often in blitz and bullet players premove their openings. This is bad because this can lead to opening blunders
2. Stalemate and other draws.
Many times players stalemate when they have a completely winning position. To stop this in your endgames always look for stalemating moves. A stalemate is a position where the king is not in check and has no legal moves. Players also draw games by repeating moves three times in completely winning positions. Sometimes beginners play more than 50 moves without a pawn push, capture or checkmate. This results in draw.
3. Checks , captures and attacks.
When playing chess you always have to look for undefended pieces that you can capture. Sometimes giving checks can save you from losing pieces or losing the game however, this does not mean you should play every check you see because sometimes these are blunders. You should try counterattack your opponent when you are being attacked. You must counterattack something of equal or more value.
4. Brilliant Sacrifices
Sometimes free pieces are not free because they traps that makes you have a bad position. To avoid falling in these traps you should think carefully why your opponent made that move and then make a decision.
5. Time trouble
Sometimes you have winning positions but you notice that you have way less time than your opponent and you lose on time. To avoid time time trouble think for an appropriate time in your games and play 2/1 in bullet and 5/0 in blitz.
