MONSTER CHESS
Monster Chess or Super King Chess is a chess variant where White has a king and 4 pawns against Black with regular army.
The goal is to checkmate the opponent's king. The rules are the same as in regular chess except that White moves 2 times in a row so it's about equal chance for both sides. It can move the same piece twice or 2 different pieces once.
White can easily avoid checkmates by moving the king 2 times, so Black can't checkmate White with 2 rooks, for example:

King escapes with Kd2 Kc3.
Since the rule is that White moves twice, White king can move into check and then out of check. At first this varaiant looks like it's unfair towards White, but it turns out White is extremely dangerous with the given rules. Even with only the king it can checkmate Black:
...which means that king vs king engames will not end in a draw.
In this next position Black king is in a 2 move check since it can be captured within White's next turn:
If Black doesn't capture the pawn on d6 it will be checkmate for White.
Also Black can't play something like Nc3+ because it still leads to the same checkmate and White will capture the Black king before responding to the check.
Here is another interesting example from Wikipedia:
En passant also applies as a rule.
Promotion also applies as a rule.
You can now imagine how threatening is for White to promote to a Queen...basically game over!
