So, last night I finally got the chance to watch the critically-acclaimed film Logan. Before I get into this, there will be spoilers, so if you haven't watched the movie, then don't read this yet.

Ok. So, I loved this movie. In view of adapting comic book story lines, it's one of the best superhero movies. And just in plot and acting as well, it's still an amazing movie. This was Hugh Jackman's last movie as the iconic character Wolverine, and he went out with a bang. This, in my opinion, was Wolverine at his best. I was also very happy to see Patrick Stewart return as Professor X (I like his version more than James McAvoy's, personally. But both of them are good in their own way). And as for Dafne Keen's Laura, I was charmed by the charisma and personality of the character. Keen brought her to life on the big screen in a magnificent way, and one of the few things I regret about the Disney-Fox deal is that we won't be seeing any more of her.

Th plot itself is different from the original Old Man Logan comics, but Fox did what they could. They brought out the sadness of the situation in a good way. The world has changed; all the original X-Men are dead except for Professor X and Logan, and they're being hunted too. I had never heard of Caliban before, so I was kinda interested in what he could do (Is it just me, or did he look kinda like the Invisible Man?) But the relationship arc between Logan and Laura is great, and it brings out the kinder side of his nature that we don't often get to see. I also was warmed by how Logan took care of Professor X, as a way of returning the kindness that had been shown to him. All the fight scenes were bloody, but done very well, and it's a reminder of just how good Venom could have been if it was R-Rated. And that last fight, where we finally got to see Wolverine in Berserker Mode, was epic. To be honest, I was almost tearing up at the end, when Laura buried him, and turned the cross into an X. Such a powerful scene.

So this movie, just warning you, is R-Rated for both violence and language (and about 1 second of partial nudity). But if you don't mind that, then I would 100% recommend you this movie. Everything, from Jackman and Stewart in their final movies for their respective characters, to the music being done by Marco Beltrami (One of my favorite composers), this movie is a masterpiece that I would rank next to The Dark Knight. So, I think it's a good movie. Thanks for reading.
