February 2021--not the best month ever

A week later my dog died...now he's off chasing squirrels and rabbits forever. And I didn't play any more rated games that month.
March? Looking a small touch better. The Ides of March were upon me today, after enjoying Pi Day yesterday, and now my Rapid rating is back to 1990 and my Blitz rating has edged up to 1851.
Onward to 2300 rapid...I'm only 64 points below my peak [2054] of a few years ago, but still a long haul to get to 2300.
The Road to 2300 Rapid: goal, bucket list, milestone...call it what you will, but it's not an end state, merely a transition. The beginning and end wrap around each other, then move again...and the chase renews. Cheers to Alpha and Omega!
