Event #104 Direction Limited Kings
This is an event that is part of a variant called event chess. More about event chess can be read here.
Event #104 Direction Limited Kings
Condition: At least 1 king for each player.
First the player that started the event choose one of either:
- Forward
- Backward
- Diagonal Forward
- Diagonal Backward
- Sideways
Then the other player chooses a different option.
Kings can not move in the directions chosen. The only exception is castling, which can be made like normal
Example 1:
The chosen directions are forward and diagonal backward. Kings can not move in those directions.
Example 2:
The chosen directions are backwards and diagonal backwards. Kings can not move in those directions.
Example 3:
The chosen directions are sideways and diagonal forward. White can not play Kd1 or Kf1, but he is able to play 0-0 or 0-0-0.
