A few months ago, Chess.com introduced the Sidebar to clubs, allowing us to customize it with shortcuts and relevant information. At Global Citizens Club (241), we take full advantage of this tool to ensure our members have everything just a click away.

The value promises of the club's presentation are confirmed through this Sidebar, linking to the most important points, using links to forums, blogs, and platform addresses that reference our club's content.

How do we use the Sidebar?
Friends, what better way to use our club as an example. We've designed a functional and dynamic space that organizes our key and related activities, which we describe below:

Challenges: The Passport Challenge, the Books (33) Challenge, and our monthly Variation Series—our members always have challenges to overcome.

Tournaments and Competitions: Information about our Live Arenas, Daily Matches, Chess Votes, Live Matches, Open Tournaments, and more.

Recognitions and Awards: Week by week, we announce the winners of medals, trophies, badges, and recognitions for club achievements through the UPDATENews. We close the year with the Gala Night, where we award the best and most outstanding players the "241Awards" in their various categories.

Club Features: Mascot, Song (Spanish and English versions), AI-powered Match Portrait Gallery (played since 2023), and "Chameleon King Chess" our Chess Variant.

Active Community: Posts from our bloggers, information about our streamers, Talent 241 (our talented human capital, both with and without titles), etc.

Highlighted Messages: Short announcements such as daily match announcements, special events, and surprises.

Why is it useful?

Access all club content without wasting time.thumbup
Stay up-to-date with events, tournaments, and activities.thumbup
Connect with our community's achievements and posts.thumbup

Important consideration: Please don't write a love letter in the Sidebar because no one will read it, as the user will lose interest as soon as they scroll down. The Sidebar design should be easy to access and navigate.thumbup

Thanks to the Sidebar, our club is more dynamic, organized, and accessible. I recommend using it in your club. Explore it and make the most of your time and experience at 241+!
