Looking Back (2)
Welcome back to the series of Looking Back of my pathway of learning chess. Last time, we reviewed the very beginning journey of me in chess.
2020 September, I had a game that I knocked my opponent off the board pretty quickly:
I was also aware of back rank mate! Here's the proof:
Time flies to 2021 February, otherwise I'll need 50 blogs to complete the series of looking back in chess. My playing is still very careless, but slightly reduced the one-move blunders. At least I won't move a piece where the enemy camp holds strongly and I do not have re-captures. My middlegames slightly improved, by playing in a more solid way rather than being too aggressive and falling into multiple traps. I started winning with middlegames, and slowly revealed my weakness in the other parts of the game, where I showed almost zero knowledge there:
The weakness in endgame is so obvious. Making a couple of mistakes continuously and went for completing winning to losing. Therefore, I started taking free weekly endgames lesson in chess.com instead of continue working on my middlegames.
