Tactical Themes: Clearance (+ Video)
Hello everyone. As you already know, tactics is a very important aspect of the game if you want to raise your level. In this post, I’m going to explain 5 selected puzzles, where you have to win using Clearance Tactical Theme.
We talk about Clearance, when we have a winning tactical sequence, but to make it work, we need to use some particular square or line, which is blocked by some other of our pieces. That’s why, we are going to move that piece to clear that square or line (usually sacrificing it) so we can do the winning sequence.
Let’s see some examples. I encourage you to try to find the solutions for some minutes.
