Mikhail Nekhemyevich Tal was a Soviet-Latvian grandmaster that was famously known as the "Magician From Riga", because of his "Magical" attacking style. Tal was a chess genius and one of the best players of all time. Tal also has the longest unbeaten streak, 95 games unbeaten, until Ding Liren's longer streak 100 games unbeaten.

The magician make a great attack on Karpov's kingside, it's one of Tal's best games. 

Mikhail Tal also had a good result with one of the greatest player of all time; Bobby Fischer.

that is one of Tal's win against Fischer, tal has win 4 games against Bobby Fischer. Mikail tal was the youngest world chapion, he won the world champion at 23 in 1960 defeating Mikhail Botvinnik, but later Tal's record of being the youngest world champion at 23 was broke by Garry Kasparov at 22.

In the 1960 world championship final Tal-Botvinnik, Tal defeat Botvinnik with a final score of Tal 12½; Botvinnik 8½ after 21 games, making the magician the 8th world champion. 

Tal was winning already on the first match, the game aboce was the first game.

Tal won 6, Draw 12, and loss 2. One year after Tal defeat botvinnik, botvinnik defated Tal in the world championsip match.

Tal was one of the greatest chess genius, but unfortunately, Tal has a bad health. Tal was a smoker, and drink a lot of heavy drink. Tal spend a lot of time in the hospital on his life, Including an operation for kidney removal. Tal died in Moscow Hospital in 28 June 1992.

Playing Style: Tal's playing style was agressive attcking and sacrifices. Tal wil make the position complicated which make some master find it was imposibble to solve, and then he will sacrifice. Mikhail Tal was one of the most feared player because of his complication and brilliancies.

Tal's sacrifices was dangerous, but some player has a sucessful result agiants Tal, including  Spassky, Petrosian, Polugaevsky, Korchnoi, Keres, Smyslov, and Stein. Many of Latvian top players play like Tal, like Alexei Shirov.
