The Odessa region open chess championship Superfinal which took place on July 27 - August 4, 2020 was convincingly and surprisingly won by FM Georgiy Sodol, who scored +7 =2 and made a GM-norm. Among 10 participants, there were 6 GMs (albeit all under 2500 currently). The tournament was sponsored by Bank Vostok.

I'm very glad for Georgiy: he is a gifted player but too often was, chesswise, unstable.
