Hearthstone: Release the Hounds
Welcome back to Game Theory, The lazy person's guide to game strategy.
I'm still obsessing over hearthstone. Today I am going to be highlighting a strong Hunter deck with no rares.
Release the Hounds!
Recently the cost of Unleash the Hounds has been lowered from 4 to 2 mana. This firmly places this card into the realm of the ridiculous.
Combined with the Buzzard and the Hyena this deck flys into action threating to completely overwhelm the unprepared at a moments notice.
Try it, you won't be disappointed.
Play tips: avoid playing Timber Wolves first turn.
Be aware of the interaction of Scavaging Hyena and any other beast. For instance, play early Bloodfen Raptor, followed by the Hyena, then trade the raptor for their minions pumping the Hyena.
Dont play Starving Buzzard unless you are going to pull at least two cards from it that turn.
Tundra Rhino gives all your beasts haste, er...charge. If it can survive to the next turn, you can often win by dropping a fist full of beasts and swinging for the fences...
