Beauty, especially in the context of this blog is anything that is reproductive, stylish, and has aesthetic value outside the item’s physical shell, combined with mastery in the game and manifestation of intuitiveness on the chessboard. Though there has always been fewer female players in chess and most of the genius level players are male, there are always exceptions and these women legends changed the face of chess. Blindly, people often associate beauty with fragile physical looks but not all the pretty faces behind the board are dreamy and delicate beauties.

1. Judit Polgar: Judit Polgar, the World’s youngest ever Grandmaster proudly hailed from Hungary, with her aggressive play style and acute sense of tactics. This fifty-three-year-old combative Magyar defied all odds to change the course of chess and at the same time combated the male dominated world of chess. It will be recalled that she became the youngest Grandmaster at 15 years old and has remained a source of inspiration to anyone who has dream to become a professional chess player.
