From May 9 to 10, Tihon took part in the INTERNATIONAL "TEHSIL" CUP U17 online blitz chess tournament DEDICATED TO THE 97th ANNIVERSARY OF NATIONAL LEADER OF AZERBAIJAN

The tournament was held in 2 stages (qualification and final).
Tihon spent both stages playing live with streaming his games.

In the qualifying tournament, Tihon became 10th among 179 players from around the world.

In the final, Tihon took 1st place among players under the age of 12 and in the overall standings became 21st out of 60 strongest players.
