The wayward queen opening
The wayward queen opening is a very deadly opening and is one of the most played openings in chess.com for white there are many games in the database where this opening is played. Whenever I face this opening, I feel a little bit annoyed because they bring their queen early into the game.
It is a opening which starts like this
Most players play against low rated players and can completely destroy their opponents if they dont know how to defend properly
How to defend:-
The wayward queen opening has many defences
One such defence is the kiddie countergambit
This is the Kiddie countergambit-
But the best defence is Nc6 as it protects the pawn
While u play nc6 u defend the pawn and avoid the queen to capture the pawn. But white in this position usually responds with bc4 so we respond with nh6 and u have a good position to develop your pieces in the board
Conclusion-
Should you play this opening?
This opening might be a good opening but the problem is you are violating one of the most important opening principles- bringing out the queen too early. While white brings the queen too early black can just develop his pieces and make a strong position too attack whereas white is just moving the queen around the board. So I would suggest you to not play this opening.
