Quickest Way To Grind Trophies
Trophies have always been easy to get, just win, but the higher ranking you are the more sweaty the competition becomes. I recall from when I was a mere wood ranking, the highest ranking in my league only had a tiny 300 trophies and that was that, promoted to stone. In crystal, people need 1000 trophies to even make it to 4-5th place which just touches the higher rankings, I doubt that the people are less sweaty in Elite and Champion. I've had noticed that the more professional the players the more chill they become. Crystal and Silva, (Silver, I got used to typing Silva due to Calamity Mod issues) are usually the middle ranks which contains huge sweats trying to get to the higher and higher ranks, Now enough talk about rankings and actually getting the trophies
Rapid is usually the most diverse way to get trophies, but there is a even faster way. Blitz and bullet are faster but do not provide sufficient enough trophies in order to take over rapid, currently in my division, there is people who have 300 trophies by playing only bullet chess, now how many games is that? Quite simple 300/3 (which is the amount you get) and you get 100 games. Yes you read that right, 100 games. How many would you get if instead he played rapid? First bullet chess is only 1 minute. Rapid is 10 minutes, 100 games in bullet is only 10 games in rapid, yet if you win you get 15 trophies, now you might say, but Semi 10*15 is only 150, and thats twice as less, think about it. Would you win every game? Probably not. Bullet is tense and quick thinking, rapid gives you time to think and awards you more trophies, if he were to spend all that time into rapid and won that 100 times he would have gotten 1500 trophies. 5 times more than bullet chess.
But, even rapid can not compare to the amount of trophies you get. In rapid tournaments you get extra trophies for your playing. You get 2-3 extra trophies for your time in arena, "But Semi, 2-3 isn't a lot of trophies!!1!1." You're right, but also wrong. If I had a penny for every day I lived, 1 penny a day isn't a lot, but it adds up quickly. I've been alive for quite some time. Over a decade, so in a decade how much would I have earned from pennies alone? 3650 pennies, or 365 dollars. That's enough to purchase 45 months of Diamond Membership, or 3.75 years. That's quite some time. I've won 45 rapid games this week so far, if I were only playing tournament rapid then for that 2-3 trophies I got I would have gotten an extra 90 if I only gotten +2, if that was a plus three then I would have gotten an extra 120 trophies, quite a lot from a measly extra 2-3. There's a little downside of being matched up with higher ranking people, but other than that, there is no difference, it's just rapid but you get more rewards. Happy Playing!
