The Most Unbelievable Stalemate in Chess
Hi!
Have you ever heard about:
- Stalemate?
(lol) - Fastest stalemate (10 moves)? - probably yes
- Fastest stalemate with all pieces on the board? (12 moves) - I guess you can know it if you’re interested in chess.
But what’s the point of this all? Have you ever seen Double Stalemate?! With all 32 pieces remaining on the board?! Is it even possible?
More concrete about double stalemate meaning: You have to put 16 white and 16 black pieces in the way they will block each other. Without option to move no matter who’s turn to.
And yes, that’s possible. (At least I know one position because I’ve created it).
- How? Very simple By spending 1h.30m thinking about it.

I found this position few months ago, but recently I thought: Is there any other position with all pieces double stalemate? By chess logic it is. But who can find it?
I wish anyone will try or even complete this task, and if you will be able to do it send the screenshot or study in comments below.
Thanks for attention!
