I lost to Martin!!
Well, this is disappointing. I went into my match with Martin full of confidence and hopes of crushing him. I came out crushed myself. Where did I mess up? What went wrong in this game?
In this game, I played the Dutch Defense. Looking back, I'm thinking I should have played the Bongcloud, since I've heard good things about it from top bloggers like @lightning. I'm thinking that was my biggest mistake there. Even with my two brilliant moves, Martin just outplayed and outsmarted me. I think if I memorize some openings and maybe do a few more puzzles, I'll be ready to beat Martin in no time.

So, I beat Martin after all. It was fun, and I'm on to the next bot. One worry I have is that playing weaker bots will harm my play, but as I face harder ones, hopefully I can learn even more than I already do. The next bot I am going to face is Jimmy.
This game might take a while to post because it was a nightmare creating the annotation for this game, and I imagine my game against Jimmy will be even longer.
