Chess Journal Date: 4/29/2020

The training session proceeds to the rank of 1052, having reset from 400 level a few days ago.

Now at about 4 days in a row with an improving ranking but slowing down with rank level.

Still I have now 25 themes  at 50 % or better success, & just above  82 % won/lost ratio.

Achievements are at 36 on Chess.com.

More focus  needs to be on lessons & tutorials however.

Plus having a schedule for chess training is needed.

By the way who is the oldest person to achieve grandmaster level of chess play?

My profile status is clear:

Be realistic, learn, but enjoy the site & activity.

I did not use the words, hobby, sport, or profession.

Chess in moderation is the word for the day.

Chess can bring a person to reality quickly, humbling him or her self.

Folks, know when to walk away from the game, to recharge one's mind or batteries.

Be well everyone.

Chess has many parallels to life, perhaps it is a learning tool for life. I don't know if chess will save the world of all it's problems, it tests  a player in different ways. It can be frustrating at times. Above all  it should be a game for people around the world to develop friendships & something to enjoy but to not take too seriously. Wishing everyone well who plays this for fun or professionally,  Jan. 22, 2020
