CHESS PLAYER'S LEAGUE Blog #003 - Elite div: 10,000pts reached in 6 weeks + 1 day !

Hello friends grin.png Is the Player League something you care about on Chess.com? Personally had never really did play competitive in such a manner except for Darkest Dungeon PVP. But competitive chess? Didn't imagine getting hooked, but here I am telling the tale of the performance goals I've set since learning the workings of the Player's League.

Are you part of this side of the Chess PVP on Chess.dot?
Do you have 10.000 points or more in the Player's League currently?
This a blog about my story of getting to that milestone. 6 weeks and 1 day were required. Joined the site on a created through email account on november 15, BUT started league play on the sunday that followed, November 20th. The numbers are not fuged, not trying to get around requirements either, ask me questions in comment on the process ot evaluate the stats.

Begining this journey to speedrun the Player's League to reach the Champion status, I had no plans in mind. Didn't imagine a layman could reactivat is potential and enjoy the process enough to plays hundreds of bullet games. Imagine then setting the bar at 10K points before even reaching the League of Legends wasn't premeditated.

Was at 666points in 3 days during my Elite Div week.
( Read about the 666pts update blog #002 here! )
Took a day's break equivalent since I was working an 11 hours shift... Then the holidays happened, family gatherings, yada yada.  Had prepared the gear required to play if competition started rushing the gates. Kept checking my cellphone app hourly, but then decided that I'd take christmas eve off - with a quadruple toothache to ease the resolution.

Returned after christmas eve festivities and had a marathon for the final 8 hours to the end of the week. Confirmed 1st in the ELITE division I was enlisted into! Gotting a 200 points lead back is my prerogative every time I login, reaffirming it as often as possible during the week.

So I ended up failing to achieve the target (as a noob on Chess.com): using the 6 weeks leading from WOOD to CHAMPION division to reach a 10,000 total player league points .  Nonetheless this is quite acceptable since 6 weeks + 1 day were required to reach the milestone. Could have granted an achievement honestly... but this is just a good reason to recommend that update to the devs!

Total after 6 weeks + 1 day:
 as of Nov 20 to Dec 26, 10PM ET  = 10,000pts

1,666.666 points / week

reached around 20:20 to 20:50 PM then overtaken

10000 player's league points in 6weeks + 1 day
10000 player's league points in 6weeks + 1 day
